4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals right-handed pitcher Johan Oviedo was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Thursday, but not due to a positive test of his own. Having come in contact with someone who did test positive, Oviedo has been self-quarantined and has tested negative, which clears a path for him returning as soon as next week. The 22-year-old has made four starts for St. Louis this year, having posted a 4.66 ERA with an average 94.9 MPH fastball. At this stage, he is a deep league option for fantasy owners, while continuing to have DFS upside depending on the given slate.
