4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Johan Oviedo had a rough outing on Tuesday in a loss against the Detroit Tigers. Oviedo lasted just 3 2/3 innings, allowing six runs (two earned) on six hits and three walks while striking out just one. Don't let the two earned runs fool you, this was a poor outing by Oviedo. He threw 82 pitches, 49 for strikes. His record dropped to 0-3 and his ERA rose to 4.62 even though four of the runs didn't count towards it. He's not a recommended option unless he's being used as a streamer against a weak offense in a very deep league.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
