3 years agoWashington Football Team tight end John Bates caught two passes for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Week 16 blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Bates outproduced Ricky Seals-Jones, who only caught one pass for negative yardage in this one, so he could play an increased role in the final two games of his rookie campaign. He hasn't seen more than four targets in a game this season, so fantasy managers shouldn't get too excited after his first touchdown of the season. Even if he does get a more significant role, it likely won't be enough to consider him starting him in fantasy lineups.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
