7 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals recalled right-handed relief pitcher John Brebbia from Triple-A Memphis. Brebbia got the call when Ryan Sherriff was placed on the disabled list, but with closer Greg Holland set to join the team, Brebbia's stay might already be over. He was excellent last season but lost his Opening Day spot to rookie flamethrower Jordan Hicks. Even if Brebbia does get sent down upon Holland's activation, he should spend a decent amount of time in the St. Louis bullpen going forward.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
