3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver John Brown has been elevated to the active roster. He had been on the practice squad for just a few days. The 31-year-old spent the preseason with the Raiders but was released on cutdown day. Now, he'll be tasked with playing wide receiver in an offense that is currently without both Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler. Considering he is a new addition to the team, it is hard to imagine that Brown, who has two 1,000-yard seasons through seven years in the NFL, will see a full workload. However, Denver is still likely to get him involved. He caught 147 passes for 2,283 yards and 14 touchdowns over his last three seasons with the Bills and Ravens.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
