3 years agoWashington Capitals defenseman John Carlson had a primary and secondary assists in the Capitals' 3-2 overtime loss on Tuesday. Carlson got off to a slow start fantasy-wise but now has 12 points in 16 games (three goals, nine assists). The Washington defenseman also had three shots on goal and three scoring chances. Most of those came later in the game as the Capitals were the more dominant team in the later stages. That should bode well as the road trip continues for Washington and for Carlson. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
