4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher John Gant lasted only three innings in Wednesday's start against the Detroit Tigers. Gant allowed three runs on two hits and four walks, striking out four. Gant got off to a great start this season, but was clearly playing with fire almost every start. Things have caught up to him quickly of late, as his record has fallen to 4-6 and his ERA has ballooned up to 3.76. Gant will stick in the rotation for at least a few more turns mostly based on the lack of other options, but he'll need to find his early season form sooner than later if he's going to be worthy of any fantasy consideration.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
