7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher John Gant made a three-inning relief appearance earlier in the year, resulting in a win. He is set to be back in the big leagues on Monday to start while Adam Wainwright is still out with an elbow injury. Gant has a 2.40 ERA at Triple-A Memphis over five starts. He will be facing a Minnesota Twins team that is only 11-17 this year. Gant could be a good spot starter for you if you have lots of injuries and are desperate. He will most likely only make this one start, but that has yet to be determined.--Blake Sullivan
