6 years agoAnaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson was peppered in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss against the visiting San Jose Sharks. He allowed four goals on 49 shots, including the game-winner to right-winger Timo Meier 2:12 into the extra session. The Ducks weren't playing very good defense in front of his crease and he was facing a lot of rubber as a result. It was a much difference experience than Oct. 3 when he allowed just two goals on 33 shots in a road win in San Jose. He'll hope for better rearguard play in front of him Tuesday night against Philadelphia.--Daniel Dobish
