7 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman/catcher John Hicks (rest) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Jim Adduci will bat fifth and play first base against righty Chris Archer on Monday. Hicks is getting a rest day on Monday, but is an appealing option in many fantasy leagues. He starts at first base mostly, but does have catcher eligibility in most leagues. Hicks hits for a higher average than most catchers, so he's worth a look if you need help there.
