3 years agoTexas Rangers catcher John Hicks is taking advantage of his playing time with the organization. He recently had his contract purchased from Triple-A Round Rock and is wasting no time. On Saturday, Hick went 2-for-4 with two home runs in the win over the Seattle Mariners. It was a nice showing from the veteran catcher, but he won't have long term fantasy value. Jose Trevino (forearm) is hopefully going to return soon, which should mean Hicks loses playing time. Regardless, it was a quality game for Hicks and he helped the Rangers get the win.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
