3 years agoTexas Rangers pitcher John King may be getting promoted. With some of the team's staff struggling, the veteran could be tasked with taking on a more prominent role within the rotation. King pitched three innings on Saturday, and it appears as if skipper Chris Woodward could be building him up for more work moving ahead. The 26-year-old has a 5-5 record but is currently sitting on an acceptable 2.41 ERA throughout 37 innings this season. Fantasy managers in deeper formats where pitching may be more scarce should surely keep him in mind over the weeks ahead.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
