John Means Feels Ready To Go For 2021 Regular Season
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher John Means put forth a lackluster start in Monday's 6-5 loss to the Pirates. Means allowed three runs on four hits and three walks with three strikeouts over 3 2/3 innings pitched. He threw 85 pitches in the outing. The good thing is that Means feels good for the start of the regular season. He said Monday, "I feel like I'm ready to go... I feel pretty solid and yeah, ready to go.". The 27-year-old has been named the O's Opening Day starter and will hope to return to his 2019 season form after a disappointing 2020. Given what he showed in 2019, Means is worth a late-round fantasy draft pick.
