John Means In "Midseason Form" In Tuesday Start
5 years agoBaltimore Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said that starting pitcher John Means was in "midseason form" in his spring training start Tuesday, per BaltimoreBaseball.com's Rich Dubroff. The 26-year-old All-Star pitched 1 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on three hits and no walks with three strikeouts. Said Hyde, "Fastball had really good life. Really good changeups, good breaking balls.” Means was a surprise fantasy contributor last season, going 12-11 was a 3.60 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 19% strikeout rate.
