John Means On Track To Make Season Debut In Second Series
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles left-hander John Means was slated to be the team's Opening Day starter Friday against Boston, but left-arm soreness pushed back his first start. Per manager Brandon Hyde, there's a "really good chance" that Means is on the hill when the Orioles face the Marlins in the second series of the year, which is set for Monday-Thursday. While injury concerns will be paramount (in addition to likely facing a pitch count), Means is the Orioles most relevant starting pitcher option. By facing Miami as opposed to Boston, he likely sees an uptick in value in both standard leagues and DFS formats.
