3 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher John Means did not factor in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Yankees. Means pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on four hits (including a two-run home run) and two walks with four strikeouts. He was in line for the win going into the ninth inning with the O's up 3-2. However, Tyler Wells allowed two runs, blowing the save and win opportunity for Means. The 28-year-old has done a solid job this season, going 5-7 with a 3.41 ERA and 1.00 WHIP. His next start will be a decent matchup against a middling Phillies lineup. He is a relatively easy start decision for fantasy managers who are still in the playoff hunt at this stage.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
