4 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher John Means turned in his worst start of the season in Wednesday's 9-7 loss to the Rays. Means pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing four runs on six hits (including two home runs) and a walk with six strikeouts. The fact that this stat line is Means' worst start of the season is a testament to how well he has pitched. Means has pitched like an ace overall and now has a 1.70 ERA and a 9.10 K/9 rate through nine starts. He will look to rebound in his next start against the Twins at home.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
