3 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver John Metchie III (knee) says he will be ready to go in July while adding he feels "amazing." In December, the former Alabama product tore his left ACL during the SEC Championship. As a result, his draft stock fell, ultimately causing him to fall to the Texans, who selected him with the 44th overall pick. Nonetheless, the 21-year-old won't have much competition for a spot higher on the depth chart in 2022-23. However, managers will likely be apprehensive about taking Metchie during fantasy drafts.
