3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates first baseman John Nogowski hit his first career home run on Tuesday night, as he finished 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in an 11-6 loss to the Diamondbacks. He has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball since joining the Pirates, as he's slashing .438/.491/.583 with 10 RBI and nine runs scored over 12 games with Pittsburgh. Obviously he can't keep this rate up forever, and once Colin Moran returns from the IL then his playing time will diminish, but until then he can be a useful fill-in option in fantasy.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
