John Ross Brings In Only Two Catches
5 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver John Ross brought in two of his five targets for 42 yards during the win over the Browns on Sunday. He also added a carry for negative yardage. After compiling 11 catches for 270 yards and three touchdowns during the first two weeks of the year, Ross' season was derailed after suffering a chest injury during the Week 4 matchup against the Steelers. He never looked the same upon his return, with the closet he came to his early-season efficiency coming in Week 16 against the Dolphins by finishing with six catches for 84 yards. With the quarterback situation in Cincinnati shrouded in mystery and the future of A.J. Green (foot) in question, at least with the Bengals, Ross' projection for next season is uncertain, with more being revealed during the offseason.
