John Ross Claims He’s Healthy Enough To Practice
5 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver John Ross (hamstring) stated that he could have participated in training camp since opening day but also stated that he was held out to avoid aggravating the ailment that has caused him some issues as of late. The third-year receiver indicated that he has decreased his training volume at the suggestion of former Bengals wideout T.J. Houshmandzadeh and though he still goes hard as it relates to his workouts, he’s mindful of taking care of his body. The 23-year-old has appeared in 16 games over the last two seasons while battling various injuries, but if he can remain healthy, he could see a significant uptake in production with A.J. Green (ankle) out for a few weeks (at least). Ross still remains without a firm return date.
