John Ross Not in Marvin Lewis' Dog House

6 years agoCincinnati Bengals receiver John Ross was not in head coach Marvin Lewis' dog house last year, despite numerous reports of a feud between the two. "I don't have a dog house," Lewis said. “I think he’s all the ability we wanted. That’s why we drafted him. He had to get fixed. We knew he was injured going in and he got nicked up a couple of times in his lower legs and the other shoulder was bothering him. He’s all fixed now.” It sounds like a couple nagging injuries are a big part of what kept Ross from making even a single catch last season. It's too early to tell, but Ross could be a nice late-round sleeper if it looks like he is going to get repetitions at No. 2 receiver behind A.J. Green next year.--patton
