6 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center John Tavares scored a goal and added an assist during a 5-0 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night. Tavares fired six shots on net during the contest. The 28-year-old was highly noticeable in this one as he seemed to be everywhere on the ice. Tavares has enjoyed a fantastic start to his Toronto tenure as he has eight goals and eight assists through 14 games. Tavares has reached at least 66 points in seven of the last nine seasons and now has the best supporting cast of his career.
