4 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center John Tavares scored a power-play goal and added an assist during Friday's 5-3 loss to the Ottawa Senators. He only played 15:57 in the contest, despite the Maple Leafs trailing for the entire third period. Despite that, Tavares has had a strong start to 2021. He has produced two goals, three assists, three power-play points, and nine shots on goal in his first two games.
