6 years agoBaltimore Orioles second baseman Jonathan Schoop went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two strikeouts on Sunday in a 13-3 loss to the Blue Jays. Schoop's sixth HR of the season was a line drive off of Marco Estrada that barely cleared the left-field wall. Schoop has been extremely disappointing this season, posting a poor .220/.255/.368 slash line in 193 plate appearances. He rarely walks (3.1% BB rate) so when he isn't hitting, he's essentially useless to fantasy players. The 26-year-old should only be rostered in deeper leagues at this point, with fantasy owners hoping he can turn things around at some point in the season.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
