3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Johnny Cueto turned in a solid start in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Cardinals. Cueto pitched 5 innings, allowing a single run on two hits (including a solo home run) and a walk with five strikeouts. Unfortunately, the Giants weren't able to generate much on the offensive side. The veteran has been inconsistent this season and now has a 4.01 ERA through 15 starts. His next start should come against the Pirates at home, who have started the second half off hot but have been a great matchup for most of the season.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
