Johnny Cueto Set To Return To Giants Rotation On Tuesday
7 years agoAfter suffering an ankle injury last week, San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Johnny Cueto has been cleared to return to the Giants' rotation and will start on Tuesday against the Diamondbacks. Cueto has been superb in 2018, pitching to a 1-0 record with a 0.69 ERA and a 5/2 K/BB ratio over 13 innings. With San Francisco looking to get back into the postseason, and Madison Bumgarner still on the DL, they will have to rely on Cueto to continue his strong start going forward. Cueto makes for a good, yet unspectacular start against a strong Diamondbacks team on Tuesday.
