Johnny Cueto Turns In Mediocre Start Wednesday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Johnny Cueto took a no-decision in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Diamondbacks. Cueto pitched five innings, allowing four runs on eight hits and no walks with five strikeouts. The veteran has had a nice season overall, going 3-1 with a 3.86 ERA, a 1.29 WHIP, and a 20.3% strikeout rate. His next start should be a decent matchup against the Angels at home. He certainly hasn't proven himself to be matchup proof, but is worth a start in this one.
