6 years agoCalgary Flames left wing Johnny Gaudreau became the first player since 2013 to register six points in a single NHL game on Tuesday, finishing a 9-4 win over New Jersey with three goals and three assists. Elias Lindholm and Sean Monahan both had a goal and three assists, while Derek Ryan produced two goals and one assist when the team turned a one-goal deficit into a comfortable win in the third. The Flames netted six goals in a period for the first time since 1995. Johnny Hockey became the fifth player to reach 90 points this season.
