4 years agoMiami Marlins utility player Jon Berti had a great game on Friday in a 10-2 win over the Chicago Cubs. Berti went 2-for-3 with a home run, a single, and a walk. He scored two runs and drove in three. His sixth inning homer came with two on and two out, and it was his third blast of the season. Berti got off to a terrible start this season, but he's been heating up lately and should get some more consistent playing time at third base now that Isan Diaz has been sent to struggle at Triple-A instead of in the big league lineup every day. Berti is hitting .222 with a .661 OPS, but can be valuable in fantasy leagues as long as he's on a hot streak because of his positional versatility.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
