3 years agoThe Miami Marlins placed infielder Jon Berti on the injured list Saturday. He was placed on the injured list with no injury designation, which is the same consistent pattern when a player is dealing with COVID. The 30-year-old either tested positive for COVID-19 or came in close contact with someone who was infected. He is slashing .300/.440/.550 with two home runs, four RBI, 10 runs, and two stolen bases over 17 games in 2022. Miami called up infielder Joe Dunand from Triple-A Jacksonville in a corresponding move. Dunand slashed .255/.368/.426 across 14 games in Triple-A this season.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
