2 years agoMiami Marlins infielder and outfielder Jon Berti isn't in the starting lineup on Monday. The versatile Berti will be on the bench for Monday's matchup with the Pittsburgh Pirates and right-handed starter Mitch Keller. For the season, the 32-year-old, who has seen more starts at third base than any other position, is batting .277 with a .365 on-base percentage, two home runs, and 27 stolen bases in 211 plate appearances. Brian Anderson is starting at third base instead and hitting sixth against the Pirates. The 29-year-old is batting .257 with a .352 on-base percentage, three home runs, and a stolen base in 165 plate appearances this season.
