4 years agoColorado Rockies starter Jon Gray was able to get away with the victory in a day in which he pitched six full innings and allowed a couple of runs. All in all, Gray logged 91 pitches through those six innings. Gray tossed the ball to 24 different batters on Sunday allowing four hits, two of them solo home runs from the very same Bryce Harper in the first and third innings. That was all of the damage Gray would sustain, though, as the score didn't go up for Philadelphia in the remainder of the game with Jon Gray striking out six batters and handing just a couple of free passes to first base. Gray has now a 3-1 record in five starts after a no-decision to kick the year off against the Dodgers, and his 2.54 ERA ranks 12th among the 22 pitchers with 28+ innings pitched this season. --Antonio Losada - RotoBaller
