3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Jon Gray took a no-decision on Sunday when he allowed two runs on six hits with two walks and seven strikeouts over seven innings in a 6-5 extra-innings win over the Dodgers. Gray looked sharp against the Dodgers, quieting their high-powered offense over his seven innings. He allowed a two-run dinger to Justin Turner in the top of the third inning, which accounted for the only runs against him. Gray was in line for the win before Carlos Estevez blew the lead in the eighth inning but the Rockies would go on to win in extra innings. The 29-year-old hurler now owns a 6-6 record, 3.68 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 87:37 K/BB ratio over 93 innings (17 starts). He'll look to build on this performance in his next turn against these same Dodgers.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
