3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Jon Gray took the loss on Sunday when he allowed two runs on three hits with two walks and five strikeouts over four innings in a 3-0 loss to the Nationals. Gray wasn't very efficient in this one, needing 70 pitches just to get through his four innings. He coughed up an RBI single to Yadiel Hernandez in the first inning and allowed a solo home run to Juan Soto in the third. The Rockies were blanked on offense so that was enough to give him the loss. The big right-hander now owns an 8-11 record, 4.17 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 145:58 K/BB ratio over 140 1/3 innings (27 starts). He'll take on the Giants at home in his next turn.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
