Jon Gray To Face Angels On Monday
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jon Gray (knee) is good to go for a start on Monday against the Los Angeles Angels after getting through a bullpen session on Saturday without any issues. Gray left his last start on Monday against the New York Yankees when he felt "something" in his left knee in the fifth inning. The right-hander went on the injured list earlier this year with a low-grade left knee strain. He will be wearing a brace on his knee and won't be a recommended DFS play against a tough opponent, even though manager Chris Woodward said Gray won't have any restrictions against the Angels. In his four starts this year, Gray has allowed 10 earned runs while walking seven and striking out 15 in 16 1/3 innings pitched.
