2 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jon Gray put together a masterful performance versus the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday. The right-hander went seven innings, one hit allowed, and struck out nine batters in the 5-2 victory. Those nine strikeouts were the third-most that Gray has recorded in a single game this season. He has struggled at times this season, but is going into the All-Star break at the top of his game. The 30-year-old has a 3.71 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 99 strikeouts through 16 starts.
