6 years agoDespite a frustrating performance in the Week 1 loss to the Rams on Monday night, Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden has confidence in quarterback Derek Carr. "I thought he was on his way in the first half. He was 20 of 24, there was some good things. I heard a skunk got loose in our tunnel. I think that’s what screwed us up a little bit. But I don’t have any doubts that Derek Carr is going to be great and I can’t wait to get started and get ready for the Broncos...Knowing how good Derek is, it gives us hope that we can get it all solved," Gruden said. The Rams adjusted their defense in the second half and completely shut Carr and the passing game down. With another strong defense and secondary in the Broncos in Week 2, Carr won't be much more attractive from a fantasy standpoint. He should only be started in two-QB leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
