4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jon Lester continued his struggles on Tuesday, this time versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. The veteran lefty was cruising, but ran into trouble in the bottom of the sixth inning and allowed four runs that inning. The lefty finishing with a line of eight hits, five runs, three walks and three K’s over 5 1/3. Lester opened the year on a strong note, but has fallen off completely and allowed five or more runs in three of his last four starts. He can safely be dropped in all formats and will face the Cardinals in his next start.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
