5 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jon Lester turned in a quality start on Monday versus the Los Angeles Angels. Lester went seven innings and allowed four hits, one run, one walk and struck out six on the afternoon. Lester had struggled mightily over his last three starts and his strong effort on Monday lowers his ERA to 3.32. Lester has pitched well enough this year to be owned in deeper mixed leagues.
