4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jon Lester got rocked against the hot hitting White Sox on Friday night. Lester allowed four home runs on the evening and had a final line of nine hits, eight runs, zero walks and three strikeouts in 3 2/3. Lester had a strong start to the season, but has now allowed 13 earned runs in his last two starts. The veteran declined in 2019 and he is no longer the fantasy asset that he once was. Lester should only be an option in deeper mixed leagues and is matchup dependent. He will look for better results versus the Tigers in a favorable matchup Wednesday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
