3 years agoColorado Avalanche goaltender Jonas Johansson showed on Saturday night that he could be serviceable as a backup. He was steady in net as Johansson stopped 26 of 28 shots in the Avalanche 6-2 home win. The goalie notched his second win in three starts (both quality starts). Also, Johansson provided a clean sheet on the penalty kill as he stopped all four shots faced. Again, he was steady at handling the puck and simply played the position. If Pavel Francouz cannot come back at his previous level, Jared Bednar can play Johansson without anxiety.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
