6 years agoDetroit Red Wings goaltender Jonathan Bernier is the expected starter for Saturday's game against the Ottawa Senators. Bernier has been brutal this season as evidenced by his 5-12-2 record, 3.52 goals-against average, and .892 save percentage. The 30-year-old netminder does have a favorable matchup, as the Senators currently sit dead last in the NHL standings. With that in mind, Bernier should only be used under extremely desperate circumstances. He has allowed three or more goals in nine of his past 10 starts.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
