3 years agoNew Jersey Devils goaltender Jonathan Bernier stood tall on Saturday night in the shootout win over the San Jose Sharks. It was not the volume of shots but the quality faced for the Devils goalie. Overall, Bernier stopped 25 of 27 shots on the night and all but one in the shootout. The goaltender only had to face four high-danger scoring chances on the night but made a few point-blank saves when needed. Bernier improved to 4-1 on the season and continues to be a valuable "backup" goaltender.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
