2 years agoDallas Cowboys kicker Jonathan Garibay, who was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent, is the front-runner to be the team's kicker in 2022. The Cowboys recently added Lirim Hajrullahu back to their roster for some training camp competition. But if Garibay can show that he's consistent enough in training camp and the preseason, he'll enter Week 1 as the starting kicker. The Cowboys haven't started a season with a rookie kicker since Dan Bailey in 2011. Garibay, a Texas Tech product, could eventually emerge as a good kicker, but fantasy managers should look elsewhere for a proven commodity at the position.
