Jonathan India Back In Leadoff Spot
2 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India (knee) is back at second base and is batting leadoff on Tuesday against the Chicago Cubs and left-hander Wade Miley. India was injured and had to leave the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday, but he was able to heal up during the team's off day on Monday. It's been a disappointing year for last year's National League Rookie of the Year, as he's been in and out of the lineup due to various injuries. India is hitting .265/.335/.412 with nine home runs, 32 RBI, 39 runs scored and two stolen bases in 322 plate appearances over 76 games. The good news is he's gone 22-for-65 (.339) with two homers, eight RBI and 12 runs scored in 17 games since Aug. 16. Get him back into your fantasy lineups.
