Jonathan India Back In The Lineup Monday

2 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India (leg) is back at second base and is hitting leadoff on Monday against Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Noah Syndergaard. India missed the last three games over the weekend after he was hit by a pitch on Thursday, but he'll be back atop the Reds lineup to begin the week. The 25-year-old has had an injury-filled second MLB season in 2022 after he won the National League Rookie of the Year award last year. He's hitting .243/.308/.385 with seven home runs, 24 RBI, 27 runs scored and two stolen bases in 226 at-bats. So far in the month of August, India has six hits in 35 at-bats (.171 average) with no homers, two RBI and 12 strikeouts in 10 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
