3 years agoCincinnati Reds manager David Bell said there's a possibility that second baseman Jonathan India (hamstring) could return from the injured list as soon as Tuesday. Sunday was an "encouraging day" of workouts for India after he ran the bases on Friday. The 25-year-old second baseman has been on the injured list for around a week and is first eligible to return on Tuesday against the San Diego Padres. Last year's National League Rookie of the Year is still looking for his first home run of the year and only has two RBI in his first seven games, but fantasy managers would love to get him back into their lineups sooner than later. Alejo Lopez has made the last six starts for the Reds at second base in India's absence, including on Sunday against St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Adam Wainwright.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
