Jonathan India Day-To-Day After Being Hit By Pitch
2 years agoX-rays came back negative on Cincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India (ankle) after he was forced to leave the game on Wednesday against the New York Mets when he was hit by a pitch in the first inning, according to the team. India is day-to-day for now, but fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if the Reds hold him out of a matinee contest against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday. The 25-year-old was the National League Rookie of the Year in 2021, but he's struggled with injuries in his sophomore campaign and he came into the day hitting just .204/.262/.283 with two home runs, nine RBI, eight runs scored and one stolen base in 29 games played.
