Jonathan India Hits Two-Run Homer In Loss
3 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in a 15-5 loss to the Detroit Tigers on Friday. India went deep off of Detroit reliever Kyle Funkhouser in the fifth inning on a shot that pulled the Reds to within one run of tying the game at the time. India's rookie season has been impressive as he's hitting .269 with 18 homers, 82 runs, 61 RBI, and nine steals over 435 at-bats. He has cooled a bit of late, as India is hitting just .189 with two homers in his last 15 games. India remains a solid starting fantasy infielder going forward.
